Anyone who is glued to a laptop day in and day out can attest to the fact that these mini computers can sometimes cause extreme discomfort. There's even a newly coined term for the list of health issues brought about by prolonged laptop use: laptop-itis.
From carpal tunnel syndrome to neck strain and back pain, hunching over your laptop for hours on end can be detrimental to your physical well-being. But it's not like you can quit using your laptop altogether. For digital nomads and freelancers especially, a laptop is needed to, you know, survive.
