We're not even 24 hours removed from the latest mass shooting in the U.S. where a man stormed a newsroom in Maryland and killed five people in cold blood, and Sen. Marco Rubio is more concerned about a naughty word used in a news report.

During an emotional interview with CNN, Capital Gazette reporter Selene San Felice — who was in the newsroom when the shooting happened and who saw her colleagues get killed — told Anderson Cooper on the subject of "thoughts and prayers": "I'm going to need more than a couple days of news coverage and some thoughts and prayers, because it's our whole lives have been shattered.
